Today I want to share this lovely vintage china with you. I have never seen it anywhere else. It belonged to my friend Sue who I have enjoyed tea with throughout the years. She found it in Ohio so maybe it was a regional thing in the Midwest. The name of the pattern is Lady Gobel and it was manufactured by Hamilton Rose.
The china has the sweetest ladies on it that for some reason remind me of Scarlett O'Hara and Melanie Hamilton from Gone with the Wind.
I invited my beautiful wired cloche I made a couple of weeks ago. She fits right in with her hoop skirt and delicate ribbon.
The white charger plates are from Home Goods.
My daughter Stephanie did a beautiful job displaying the pastries.
I set the candle sticks on a vintage letter and also used my paper script flowers. I purchased a couple of these stems, but I am going to try to make them to recreate them for you. They are beautiful and simple.
Thanks for visiting. If anyone has seen this china pattern before, please drop me a note. I would love to hear from you.

That is just gorgeous. I have seen that image somewhere on something in Gramma Clara's house. I DON'T think it was on china though. I think it is such a beautiful image...and I love that you have a set of it. How special!
I hope you have a great Sunday- xo Diana
What a beautiful setting. I don't recognize the china pattern, but I want to tell you that I absolutely love the lacy table cloth. Do you remember where you got it? Thanks!
I don't know what it is, but it is surely quite beautiful!

I've never seen the lovely design, but wanted you to know Your Tea was absolutly adorable. Love the sweet pink tablecloth. Have a wonderful week.

I don't know for sure but it's possibly an offshoot of Roseville pottery. The pattern looks like some of the things they made. I have a couple of things my Mother had from Roseville, OH pottery. We lived in Cleveland and moved away in 1950. Just a possibility. So gorgeous. I'd sure love to have even one of those plates. And how wonderfully your lady cloche fit in.
I was thinking I would look for one of those dolls that are only the top of them and make my own cloche hopefully similiar to yours. I'll visit the thrift store this week to see what I can find in a lamp shade to use the form. Can hardly wait to try this.
Lovely.
I have never seen that china - it is so pretty and feminine! I love your beautiful tablecloth, too. Total table-envy on that one!! Great cloche, too. It is very creative.
Such a pretty china. I don't know if I recognize them either. In think, I am living in Sweden.
Looks FAB in your setting, anyway and not to mention your wrought iron chairs they are gorgeous too.
Happy TS,

I have not seen that china before. It is gorgeous, you are right, it is so Gone With the Wind. Beautiful
I am your newest follower, you have serious skills! I love the china, tablecloth & cloche. I saw an older post using a lampshade frame for a cloche, genius. What was the lady cloche originally? Suzi pblapere@att.net
So petty and delicate - and the cloche is fabulous!
I'm really sorry, but from the first picture of this post, all I could see or focus on was that little table and the tablecloth! what a beauty that tablecloth is. Can you tell us more?
