Problem Solved

You can't believe what I have been through with this blog problem this week.  I have done everything that was suggested and more and nothing worked.  Finally today my daughter sat down with my computer and did a defragmentation, ran a malware sweep, updated Java Script and Adobe Flash Player, deleted my browsing history once again, blah, blah, blah, and still nothing worked.

Finally she suggested we download Firefox to see if that browser would work.  That's when I told her I already had Google Chrome on my computer.  Guess what?  I can now see my dashboard, do posts the normal way, and upload photos.  Who knew?

So if you encounter this problem, try a different browser and see if it works.

In the meantime, just a reminder that I will be at the Little French Flea Market June 15 and 16 so if you are anywhere nearby, stop by for a visit.
Thanks for hanging in there with me and for all your suggestions.

Jeanne d' Arc Inspired Bench

First of all, thanks to all of you who responded to my plea for help on my blog problems.  I still can't get into my blog from my dashboard.  I have cleared my browsing history, changed my password and logged in and out several times.  I am doing this post on my little netbook computer which is a total pain.  If you have anymore ideas I would love to hear them.

Now onto today's post.  I found two of these cute little benches at the salvage yard.  They were wood and really beat up.  I dug through my images and my stash and found some Jeanne d' Arc paper napkins I had purchased from The Beautiful Life a few months back.  My husband painted the benches Annie Sloan Old White, and I then made laser copies of the napkins and lined the images up across the top of the bench and on the sides.  Then I once again did my transfer method of the reverse mod podge.  You are all probably getting tired of me doing this same transfer procedure over and over, but I keep coming up with new ideas so I can't help myself.
It was kind of like playing with paper dolls.  I even left the Jeanne d' Arc logo on as I graffitied this old bench.  It reminds me of those construction sites where they line up the same poster over and over like wallpaper.
I took the paint scraper to the bench before I put the images on to bring out the chips and dings and to restore some of the rustic feeling this bench had from years of use.
I've had this little bench sitting outside in the sun for a couple of weeks and so far no fading has occurred.
I had one comment from someone on my flower pots that expressed concern for what would happen when these images get wet or are exposed to moisture.  Here is my theory, and I wish I had taken photos of some pots on my patio that have been sitting out there since Thanksgiving that have showed no sign of any fading.  When you do a reverse decoupage or mod podge, whatever you want to call it, you are putting the glue onto the image.  It's a laser image.  Then you put it face down on your project and then take the layers of paper off leaving the image in the hardened glue.
I bet you didn't know that one sheet of Xerox paper has several layers, but it does.  I think this little bench came out great and it's a departure from all of my flowered projects I've been doing lately which I hope to share in the upcoming week.

Thanks so much for visiting.

Still Having Blog Problems

Thanks to all of you that have responded to my plea for help.  I have read all the comments through email and followed the instructions and it's still not working at all.  Anymore suggestions?

It would appear from going into my settings that I do have Google +, but I never signed up for it or did anything to get it.  Is it possible it's there by itself and if so, how do I get rid of it?  Not sure what to do now.  I have a blog post ready with photos.  I closed it out and then tried to go back into it and I can't get into it to hit publish.  Very frustrating.

Need Blog Help

I am having major problems with my blog.  I can't get into my stats, comments and I'm shocked I am even able to write this post.  I haven't even been able to do this all day.  Making me crazy!!  Has anyone out there had a problem where they go into anything in blogger and all they have is a blank screen?  I have signed in and signed out and I have changed my password thinking someone hijacked my blog.  If you have had this problem, I can read comments in my email but not through my blog.  I even had Karen Valentine try to access my blog and she said everything was normal on her computer and it must be my computer.  But everything else is working fine.  Hoping to hear from someone out there.
