What is the saying? Imitation is the best flattery? I saw these ornaments on the Graphics Fairy Brag Monday last week and instantly fell in love. The originator of these ornaments is Sandra from Stone House Designs. Aren't they adorable? I immediately took a trip to Joann's Crafts and found the wooden blank ornaments and saved the graphics from the Graphics Fairy's website.
I used the reverse mod podge transfer method just because it is the most economical method I know of (or that I know how to do) and I made five sets of ornaments.
For the black ornaments, I used the white graphite tracing paper and a paint pen for the chalkboard paint effect. Then I strung some jewelry hemp from Walmart and voila, I have some trendy new ornaments. For some of the graphics, here are the links. Eyeglass image, Christmas Sheet Music, and bicycle, and I'm sorry but I can't find the other images. They are both optometry images so maybe you can search that way. Have a great week and thanks for stopping by.
By the way, I am very behind on responding to comments. I love your comments and will be getting back to you very soon. Just know that I appreciate each and every one of you.

How fun! I used the eyeglass pattern to paint my optometry sign. Love it!
What a fun group of ornaments!!! LOVE the eyeglasses!!!
Cute idea! They would make a gorgeous garland as well.
Have a great Thanksgiving!

Patti
Very cute, Maggie! What a fun project- xo Diana
Thx so much for sharing the images and the ideas for these awesome and incredible ornaments. Love something different and catchy. You're the gal. Love all your ideas and projects, your blog most of all.
I see somebody has already commented on making garland with the awesome ornaments.I'll have to go to Jo-Ann's to see if I can find those round wood ornaments. Could have hubs cut some out but think now buying the blanks would be quicker. Maybe I'll make a garland with them out of heavy cardstock to substitute. So much fun thinking of all the possibilities. Happy Thanksgiving
I just found your blog. I love your work. Thank you so much for sharing your ideas and I also added you on FaceBook, but I did not know if you had a *LIKE* page or is it just your personal page. :)
