I asked the seller what kind of products she used on this cabinet to antique it and she told me she used a store bought antiquing kit. You can believe I'll be on the hunt for something that can accomplish this kind of a finish. It also has the perfect amount of chippiness too.
I took these photos with my cell phone so they are not the best quality photos, but you can still see how beautiful this piece is. It was so nice not to have to slave over something to recreate it.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a peak.

That is one of the prettiest cabinets I've ever seen--and I can't believe you didn't have to do a thing to it! What a find! Visiting you from Feathered Nest Friday.
This is a gorgeous piece! These pieces out in Colorado are really hard to find! FOund you at MMS!
LUV it!
Beautiful! Lucky you to find it in perfectly imperfect condition!

Oh WOW Maggie, that's beautiful! I hope you will share with us if you are able to find the product she used on this cabinet. Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a wonderful day. Gail
You aren't kidding that was a great sale!!! Wow! I hope it's a keeper for you. I don't think I could part with a gorgeous piece like that!
That is just a beautiful piece, Maggie. I used those kits for years. Home Depot still sells them, I think- they are quire reasonable. Are you keeping the piece? xo Diana
That is an unusual looking cabinet. I like the finish on it. How will you use it?? xoxo,Susie
Wow, what great detail on this piece, Maggie!
WOW! This is a wonderful piece!
I've never seen a piece like that before! It's wonderful!
How neat that it's already finished for you.
Enjoy!
I definitely would love to know what product she used and how long ago she used it. I don't know where you live but I can't find anything like this in my area. I find cheap laminate that people are calling an antique and want 2 or 300.00 for it. No way, I can buy and make a profit even if it is in perfect condition. Can I say "envy" in a good way. We don't often discuss price on these sites but maybe you spend a fortune and can still resell at a profit, but alas, not here. I'm super glad for your finds but must admit I have a little bit of envy in my heart (lol). I thought location, location, location was only associated with buying a house! It is gorgeous.
Wow, you really lucked out, Maggie! I am in love with your gorgeous cabinet, how great that you didn't have to do a thing with it! Enjoy:)
Maggie this is a gorgeous piece! And how lucky that it came to you like this. I hope you share this product if you find it... I would love to know what it is and where to get it! I'd also like to know where to find pieces like this...we are new to our area and I haven't found any GOOD spots to look YET! Have a great weekend!
