I found this at the Rose Bowl flea market a few years ago. It is exquisitely hand painted with fruits and flowers.
I was trying to get a photo of my most recent treasure, this adorable little sock monkey. I found him last week. He wears a little heart patch on his chest, just in time for Valentine's Day.
Isn't this tray magnificent?
The colors are soft and vibrant at the same time.
I love the black background. It makes the artwork stand out.
Thanks for stopping by.

That is truly gorgeous! I have a large round one from my grandmother but it has a lot of bad spots and is not as beautiful. I still love it though! I am SO jealous about the Rose Bowl....it's on my bucket list!
I have a collection of tole trays, so I appreciate the hand painted beauty of yours. Do tell, did your little guy already have the M stitched on his sweet little heart?! Very cute. :@
My gosh, I have dreamed of going to the Rose Bowl flea market forever. That is a beautiful tray.xoxo, Susie
I love tole trays!! This one is very pretty!! The Rose Bowl Flea Market must be wonderful!! When does that take place?? I should do it. I am up in Sacramento, but we could always make it a little trip with a quick visit to Mickey. :)

Hello Maggie,
I visited your blog today - I saw you on sweet Celestina's blog. You have such a charming blog. I love the little sock monkey. My daughter loves sock monkey, and I just saw a Valentine one today in the shops. You have many unique items on here. My best friend used to live in Simi Valley years ago. Me and my daughters also have a blog, and we would love it if you could visit us and follow. I would enjoy coming back to visit with you. Your blog is lovely, and I would like to see more of your creativity and get ideas for my own home. I hope to hear from you, and have a sweet day.
