Blog Break

It's a little late, but thought I would write just a note to say I am visiting my daughter in Northern California.  We drove up Sunday and I had high hopes of completing projects and getting some interesting posts completed, but instead we have painted most of the inside of her new home.  We are preparing for the new baby's arrival in June, and I want my daughter and her husband to be settled in and comfortable.  I'll be back next week and will catch up on emails and comments. 

Say Yes to the Dress

Another quickie post to share a dress I found this weekend.  I have a passion for vintage prom dresses, and I found this at a local sale this weekend.  It's in perfect condition and could also be used as a wedding dress.  Isn't she pretty?

 It had a gobbly gook after thingy added to it which I quickly removed.  I thought this dress was elegant and perfect in its own right without any embellishment.  Simple jewelry and a corsage or bouquet and it's ready to go.   What do you think?  Thanks for your visits.
