Red and Green Tablescape

Today my tablescape is a red and green theme.  I was all set to do a seashore theme and then I found some of these priceless gems when I went out in search of treasures last Saturday.  This bunny is so awesome, he's getting his own post later this week.  He was my main inspiration for this table.

Red and green are one of my favorite color combinations and not just for Christmas.  I love it all year round.  These red and white plates are from Country Living.  I bought them from a fellow dealer.  Later she told me she purchased them at Home Goods a couple of years ago.  My charger plates are from Home Goods as well and the green plates I have had for years.  These are very plentiful.  I have seen them at TJ Max and other shops like that.
I found the daisies at Trader Joe's.  They make the perfect summer bouquet, don't they?

Seriously, is there anyone out there that doesn't just love this little guy?  Well, he's not so little.  He's about three feet tall.  Tall, dark and handsome.

He made the perfect host for this sweet table.

I made the napkin rings out of silk geraniums.  I love that red.  Very striking.  The table topper is just some burlap yardage.  You can fringe it easily if you would like.
I found this beautiful Nest cloche.  I haven't had much time to play with it, but I absolutely love it.

Thanks for visiting today.  I always love it when you drop in.

go ahead and rub it in.....you have a beautiful cloche now! I love red and green too - my "marital stoneware" is red and green...I hardly ever use it anymore, but I can't seem to get rid of it.

Love red. Apart from pink and white-my favorite color! The plates are beautiful.. OH how it makes me miss my red and yellow kitchen. Gotta find a way to incorporate some red and yellow. Shoot I may just have to repaint! The tablescape is truly just that! SWEET!

Beautiful, Maggie! I love those plates. I think Kmart carries the Country Living line now. I got some plates with a brown and cream floral a couple of years ago, but I remember seeing some red and white things, too.
