I never got around to sharing more of my photos from the Craft and Hobby Show so today is a good day to share. I'm still processing last week's treasures and haven't done any projects this entire week.
What first caught my attention here was this beautiful damask wallpaper and when I looked through my camera lens I noticed this cleverly re-worked chandelier. Not sure how I missed it in the first place, but sometimes I need to walk right into something to see it!
This makes for wonderful show display or shop display to be sure. I would love to see a whole window of these.
As for the next photo, I think it's an adorable use for old globes. I have seen a ton of these on Pinterest, and I think they are great for a teen's room. Not too cutesy but just the right amount of imagination. Also great for a travel themed room.
Well, I did call this post Umbrella Lights which implies more than one so now I'll show you this adorable lamp I found a few weeks ago. How clever is this? It's made using a music stand and an old canvas umbrella. You can tell by my walkway, it had just rained in the morning. Perfect weather to show off my lamp. Of course, it's available at Aubergine Emporium and is now dwelling in my space.

ReplyDeleteI saw some of these umbrella lights online recently. I guess they are the new fad in lighting. Not for me but they are interesting. Don't you just love seeing new things at shows?

Looks fun!
ReplyDeleteI love your lamp creation! I bet it casts a nice soft glow in the room. The globe lights are pretty cool, too.
ReplyDeleteSO many fun ideas. I do love the globe lamps. I even have an globe that has no stand. Just sitting on Lucas' floor. I need to get my act together. Of course, there is no light on his ceiling. When we moved in the house was brand new. That was considered an upgrade!! a light in the kids room was going to cost nearly $300 each just for the electricity...and this was when the prices were already outrageous. We need to install the electricity ourselves. Should do it! Sure looks cute! Love these pictures!
