Fall Cloche

Here is my version of a fall cloche.  I borrowed these little sculpted guys from my daughter.  Isn't this one cute?  He's resting on a squash to give him some height.

I love these little pipe cleaner pumpkin figures.  They are adorable.
I found this fresh bittersweet on Ebay.  I never knew you could get fresh bittersweet on Ebay until my friend Ms. Flibbertigibbet told me.  I don't think it grows here in California.  I just bought one pound which is what you see here.
I set this little vignette on the piano to celebrate the season.
Thanks for dropping by.  Happy autumn everyone.  I'll be joining Marty's fall cloche party at A Stroll Through Life.

  7. What a cute vignette, Maggie! That pumpkin is just adorable! We get bittersweet here in Michigan in the woods, it grows wild! I guess we are on the same wave length, as I just did a post on an autumnal vignette I created in a glass apothecary jar:)

  8. This is so cute. The pipecleaner figures are really sweet! As for bittersweet, I really don't know what it is. We don't have it in the UK and I never see any for sale here in Arkansas. Is it easy to grow?

  9. Hi Maggie, We have bittersweet here that grows like a weed and needs to be pulled off of the trees to keep it from harming them! I do love it in the house, though, and your cloche looks so pretty! Linda
