This week I kept the tablescape very simple because I used this wild and crazy 60's print to cover my table. I love the black and white and didn't want to add a lot of competition to it.
I used some ironstone pieces and black charger plates and some pretty etched glasses from Anthropologie.
I also used my very old Victorian silver pitchers that have oodles of patina.
Simple white linen napkins and silver plate napkin rings round out the look.
I love the understated elegance. Thanks for stopping by. We will be returning from our vacation early next week.

That's a really pretty tablecloth, Maggie! I still want to make your scrap ruffled fabric one. I printed the post out with the directions for that one, although I might not get to it until the colder months.
ReplyDeleteHey- that 60's look is coming back, I think! I have seen similar prints like that around- Love the table setting- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI like the wild and crazy. I think Steve Martin is on his way over to see you now.

Very pretty! I love the tall ironstone pitcher--the scalloped rim and the detail on the handle help offset the straight lines of the pitcher itself. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI like it! Very elegant!

Beautiful table! I adore the white plate. This Royal Albert pattern is a favorite of mine. I have a few pieces but am always on the look out for more. Everything sits so nicely on your star of the show tablecloth!
ReplyDeleteAs a white lover, I really drool to your white dinner plates.
ReplyDeleteLoving B&W motives too-
Happy w/end.
