I am probably the last person in blog land that doesn't have a real cloche. I didn't want to miss Marty's party at a Stroll Thru Life so I improvised with my cake cover.
For the first vignette I used two of my vintage ice cream cartons, my pretty china creamer and some cherries. I think this looks so summery.
Here it is without the dome.
Then I tried a little vignette with an old prop camera and a porcelain flower. I kind of like doing things under glass.
It puts things in a whole new perspective.

ReplyDeleteThat looks great, Maggie! Don't things looks so pretty and more important under glass? I love that paper you have down on the base, too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful vignettes, Maggie! Love the cherries! It's amazing how different things look under glass. :-)
ReplyDeleteOh, both are so pretty! I especially love the cherries one; the items coordinate so perfectly with each other.: ) xoxo
ReplyDeleteLove both of your pretty cloche displays! The cherries look so pretty! My favorite.
ReplyDeletebe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Gorgeous! You always nail it. Love your blog. Going to pin these onto my Bell Jar board! Thanks! Karen
ReplyDeleteI just love your creativity with the cloche and vintage finds. I am looking forward to checking out more of your blog. I am a new follower!
ReplyDeleteDon't worry Maggie... I am "cloche-less" also. I remember taking one to the Goodwill once saying, "why would I ever really need this thing"? That's the story of my life.
ReplyDeleteYour displays are lovely. Good job!
Oh, they are pretty! And I don't have a "real" cloche, but I do have a bunch of clock and cheese domes.
ReplyDeleteYour cakesaver is perfect. Love the cherries and the egg saver, how fun is that. I think the camera is just about the cutest. Love it. What a fun idea for a cloche. Thanks so much for joining the party, I really enjoy your vignettes. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteHey that's cute, and I think it's every bit as much a cloche as my cheese server cloche. A glass dome is a glass dome!
ReplyDelete~Bliss~
Oooo. Sweet idea! I only own a cloche because my dear friend Olive found one for me in her many hunts. I just pulled mine out to display my newly found shells while in HH. I usually use my cheese dome. I love the cherries and the ironstone. The camera and lace looks so romatic.
ReplyDeleteAnd all in my favorite colors!
