The placemats are made by CAKE. They are called kitchen papers and the paper coasters on the table are made by the same manufacturer.
Black and white toile is one of my favorites (among my many favorites). This was a simple summery table. No muss, no fuss. Thanks for stopping by.

Beautiful, Maggie! You know I'm a fan of black and white, so I just love this table! Your plates are gorgeous. I've not heard of these paper placemats before, but I will keep my eye out for them.
ReplyDeleteThe tablesetting is stiking with the black, white and burlap. Love the flowers!
ReplyDeleteI ADORE the rooster plates!

What a pretty table, Maggie! I too adore toile, and love the way the burlap really sets it off. Oh, and those whoopie cookies look way too yummy:)
ReplyDeleteOh, Maggie, this is one of the sweetest tablescapes that I have seen. I love black and white although I don't have any in my home. This is perfect. Daisies are my favorite and the black centers pull pop against the white and tie it all together. Love, love the idea of milk in the bottle.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous table, Maggie! I'm not usually a fan of rooster-themed tableware, but I've never seen it done in black-and-white, nor in that beautiful design, so I'm a new convert! And the paper placemats provide the perfect framework for the plates. I bet you could create something gorgeous with the scroll-y lusciousness of the design on the mats, unless copyright issues would stand in your way.:(
ReplyDeleteAnd I, too, love the burlap tablecloth. Its neutral simplicity is a perfect backdrop for all the feminine flourishes gracing the table.:)

Love the simple burlap under the more sophisticated dishes. The whole thing looks beautiful- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI found the dinnerware, but it seems to be available only at sears.ca, and they don't ship to the US.: (

Beautiful! Very pretty and chic. I want to eat those cookies ;)
ReplyDeleteLove this tablescape. The rooster plates are a favorite with me I just adore them. Great look.

Oh my I think this is my favorite so far and I love the rooster plates just gorgeous
ReplyDeleteFun tablescape! I've got black & white check and toile in my kitchen and this setting would fit right in.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Maggie. Love black and white and the rooster is so grand. Cute placemats, they are perfect accents
ReplyDeleteBlack and white is so classic and the burlap makes it cozy. This is just a gorgeous table! Love those gerber daisies with the black centers too!!

Hi Maggie: This is gorgeous--I especially love the plate with the rooster on it! Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love these plates, my all time favorites. Great tablescape. Thanks for joining TTT.
ReplyDeleteMaggie, love the details of this table. I've looked for this pattern in black and white because I have it in red. Glad to know of a source. The Cake placemats are a nice compliment for these plates along with your fresh flowers in black and white. Well done!
ReplyDeleteI love your dinnerware!
ReplyDeleteI just love those Rooster plates! I wish I could get my hands on some!!! You make it look so effortless!!!
ReplyDeleteMaggie, love the black and white. I'm not a rooster girl, but these plates could make me change my mind. I do have relatives in Canada. Hmmmm. I think I see a visit to the Aubergine Emporium in my near future.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I just love this table! Black and white tables just speak to me. I am broken hearted that I can't get those plates, black and white and with roosters, they are awesome. Thanks for sharing. Visiting from Between Naps on the Porch.
ReplyDeleteLove your tablescape. You know, sometimes the simple tables are just as charming as the more complicated ones, as is this fine rooster/check table.
ReplyDeleteLinda
Maggie, This is a beautiful table. I love roosters and black and white so I think it is doubly attractive.
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing, Ginger
Dont you just love the paper placemats? I have several books of them and find them not just useful but fun. You can't go wrong with black and white!
ReplyDeleteVery cute!! I'm in love with your rooster dishes! Think I feel another case of dish envy coming on!
ReplyDeletePerfect table for summer, and a perfect flower choice! I love the dishes! It's too bad they're not sold on the U.S. side! :-(
